Disney’s coming back to town, and we’re so excited!
I wanted to say a whole lot more about this show to pump everybody up, but honestly, I can’t. While I’ve been to the parks a lot over my 35 years of existence, I’ve actually never been to a Disney performance before. We’re going to rectify that for Christmas. What better way to kick off Christmas break? (And yes, I’ll actually have something to say about it legitimately afterwards once I’ve been able to go).
Anyway! Disney is coming and playing here in Hamilton, Ontario at Hamilton Place Theatre on Sunday, December 21, 2014 (12PM, 3PM, 6PM).
I love musical theatre, though it’s been years since I’ve been to see one. Fortunately, it seems that Mickey Mouse and friends, plus the stars from The Little Mermaid, Aladdin and Disney/Pixar’s Toy Story, are going to rock the house in their new touring Disney Live! Mickey’s Music Festival.
Don’t let my never-been wordlessness about the show hold you back. Speaking as a person who worked with the downtown entertainment venues in my previous life, it’s Disney, and it has always done well for a good reason: they know how to entertain kids and parents alike. Nobody will be able to resist dancing, singing, and playing air-guitar with this band of characters! If you don’t believe me, check out the highlights video.
In addition to going ourselves, Jennifer of YouPinspireMe and I EACH have 4 tickets to give away, so we’re teaming up our Rafflecopters for this Very Merry Christmas present to our local fans!
That’s right, we’ve got two sets of tickets, so make sure you max out your chances to win by visiting both our sites and commenting with the answers to the questions 🙂
But while you’re waiting for Christmas and Disney Live! to arrive, come download some fun Disney activity sheets (Connect the Dots) (Maze Game) that may keep the kids busy for a few minutes while you try to sneak into the basement to wrap presents. Or make cookies.
Or try to sneak a shower.
Come join us at Disney Live! Mickey’s Music Festival for a lively concert experience guaranteed to deliver enough rockin’ memories to last a lifetime.
For more information about venue and show, please visit Core Entertainment’s website. To purchase tickets to the show, check out Ticketmaster; call 855.985.5000; or visit the Hamilton Place box office.
Contest Details: Contest entrants must be 18+ and provide a valid email on entry. Winners will be randomly selected through Rafflecopter. To win, contest entrants must have performed the task required to receive the points for that entry. FoodRetro will attempt to notify the winners via the e-mail provided to Rafflecopter, and winners must respond to this email within 24 hours to confirm the validity of the e-mail address, or another winner will be drawn.
The draw is only for Disney Live shows at Hamilton Place Theatre on December 21, and not valid for any other venue or date. Winners must be able to travel to Hamilton Place Theatre; 10 MacNab Street, Hamilton, ON, for the show. Tickets will be held at Will Call for pick up one day prior to performance.
My first time to Disney I fell in love with the Moroccan pavilion at Epcot Centre.
I’ve always wanted to go to a Disney park or Disney stage show, but have never been. with 4 kids in the house, we’ve watched a lot of Disney movies over the years though. I really like the Toy Story movies.
Hi my name is Meagan. I have a five year old daughter that is obsessed with disney everything in her room is tinkerbell. I would live to take her to this show I think it would make this the best Christmas ever as I can’t afford to take her as I have been laid off and not feeling myself I find it’s been hard to stay positive but I think winning these tickets would make things so much better so please think of us and good luck to everyone else xoxo
Good luck, Meagan! We’ve got two sets, so make sure you max out your entry opps and tweet and share! 🙂
I went to Disney World when I was 6 years old and I still remember it vividly! My sister and I went back about 3 years ago (I was there for a work conference) and relived our childhood memories going on rides like It’s a Small World!
I have been to Disney in Florida about 28 years ago but have never been to a Disney on Ice show. I like that you have Disney colouring sheets available to download
We love all things Disney!
Disney on ice is a family favourite for us over the holidays. Thanks for the chance!
I loved getting my Minnie Mouse doll at Disney World when I was a kid. My own kids play with it now.
I loved going to Disney World when I was little! I would love to share an experience of Disney (which my kids love, and watch a lot!) with my kids!
