Did you like the other Win if You’re Canadian? Good! Cause Jennifer vanOosten of YouPinspireMe and I are doing it again! So if you’re a Canadian, enter to win and get some great products from Penny Lane!
We’ve got two to give away… 1 gift bag with Suncare lotion + 2 lip balms (value $26) and another one with 1 bar of soap + soap saver + exfoliating gloves + outdoor spray ($26 value). Because they’re extra special nice, Bo is also tossing in a t-shirts to each prize. You can choose size and colour.
I’ve got a soft spot for Bo Penny and Penny Lane Organics; not only do they have a great product, but when I was still pretty fledgeling, they were happy to work with me. I love their deodorant, which is so natural you can eat it (how’s that for a sales pitch?), and the fact that all their labels are written in English instead of legal-jargonese and chemical formulae.
These ladies also avoid using animal products (vegan/vegetarian), and many of their products are also gluten free!
Bo recently sent us some Calendula Sensitive Skin Serum and Extreme Moisturizing Cream to check out to see if we liked. I ended up with the cream, Jenn tried out the serum, so be sure to check out her review as well.
FYI, I did try a little bit of the serum myself once; it’s supposed to be good for the small wrinkles around your eyes and crows feet. While I can say nothing about its efficacy on crows feet from that one time I tried it, I can say it is absolutely 100% perfect fabulously nice for sensitive skin. How do I know this? Because while aiming blindly for my crows feet while applying the serum, I stuck my serum-laden finger into my eye. You know that MY EYES! BURNING! I’M BLIND!!!!! feeling when you get make-up and cleanser into your eyes?
Didn’t happen.
The Extreme Moisturizing Cream (which I kept well away from my eyes this time) has been great to put on my legs and arms, which are already going from pasty white to OMG SUN? and peeling the 0.2% tan I’ve managed to develop. Add into the mix the fact that I’ve been playing a lot in chlorinated water at a public pool, and… well, you know how your skin can get.
This product has been keeping me from looking like an ashy old woman. And unlike my citrus-scented hand lotion that I got from them before, this one is mostly odourless. My kid doesn’t tell me I stink like oranges. I loved the smell, personally, and the fact that it worked double-time as “kid-be-gone” was just a bonus.
The Extreme Moisturizing Cream is 100% natural, vegan, gluten and fragrance free. It’s a great product.
Rules: Winner must be 18+ and have a Canadian address that products can ship to. That’s pretty much it. 🙂
Penny Lane asked if Jenn and I would give our honest opinions about the Extreme Moisturizing Cream and Calendula Sensitive Skin Serum in exchange for the product for the giveaway to pass along to you!
I would like to try the suncare lotion! Thanks for the giveaway.
I’m all about natural sun care, so that’s what I’d most like to win!
I’d love to win the calendula serum!
I only use natural products and would love to win! It’s especially hard to find Canadian products
I’d love to win the suncare lotion – it’s reasonably easy to find good soaps, but sunscreens are mostly pretty toxic.
I’m torn… I burn like crazy, so the sunscreen would be lovely, but I’d also really like to try the outdoor spray…
Uhm… whichever one isn’t spoken for by the other winner? I’m easy 🙂
I’d love to win the 2nd package with the 1 bar of soap + soap saver + exfoliating gloves + outdoor spray.
