If you talk to my mom, she can tell you all about my life history with tea.
You see, it began when she was pregnant with me, over in jolly England. And whilst expecting, she was struck by cravings for pot after pot of tea with lemon, which she found odd because she didn’t really like tea with lemon before hand.
I was just making my preference known up front.
Alas, after I was born, I was unable to hold a tea cup properly for several years. I hopped right back on the bandwagon as soon as I was able, and have been immersed in tea ever since. So it seems appropriate that my friend, who has a Canadian tea company, is doing a Mother’s Day tea giveaway and that I participate!
The Prize:
4x 50g bags of Loose Leaf Organic Tea (200g tea)
Each bag steeps about 20-25 cups so that is 80-100 cups of tea,
all can be re-steeped making it up to a possible 320cups!
Each bag is hand wrapped in pretty paper and shipped to their mama,
as long as mama is in Canada.
Sorry my American friends, no tea for you (this time).
The 4 flavours are
Mornings with the Queen – English Breakfast
Lord Earl Grey in the Study with an Infuser – Earl Grey
Punch Berry- Herbal/Fruity
Magnolia Steel- Green/Strawberry/Papaya
And you shouldn’t try them one by one. No. There’s a day-plan for enjoying your tea.
From Teabird Company: “Mom will feel like a Queen when she sips organic English Breakfast in the morning. A bit later she will find Lord Earl Grey in the Study with an Infuser. Come afternoon, she is ready to conquer the world with Magnolia Steel and a good novel. Night capping is with Punch Berry chilled and mixed with Vodka for a Mart-tea-ni.
“And the best part is, tea is the super hero drink we all can use.”
Too true, my friend. Too true.
Happy Mother’s Day, from Teabird Company!
Boring rule stuff: Canadian residents, 18+ only. Value is with shipping about $50

Do you know, I’ve never really done lemon with tea? Huh. I’ll have to try that next time I have a lemon in the house. 🙂
